Simply an outstanding national convention; kudos PPA!

Remember “fun”? It’s one of those simple words that are too often lost under the stress and challenges of business (especially over the last couple of years). Well, “fun” was back – big time, this past week at Imaging USA, PPA’s national convention. Platypod was an exhibitor, and while there’s always interest in our traditional product line with the Max, Ultra, and all the new accessories, the star of the show was Platyball.

With multiple displays, from macro to close-up to the demo area, interest was high. There was plenty of interest in the pre-order program only available online. Since launching just over a week ago, the units available for this first-come-first-served program have been over 50% committed.

This first round of pre-order units will ship in the April/May timeframe AFTER all our Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers have received their Platyballs. So it may not be until June/July if we do a second pre-order round.

A big congratulations to PPA for putting together an outstanding convention. It was one of the best we’ve ever attended, and right down to the last few hours of the show, things never slowed down! After almost two years of hunkering down, it was good to get time with old friends and new ones. Nicely done, PPA!
