"Our Viking model for the Lofoten Viking Photography Workshop was also a fisherman, posing for these photos in the historic cabin at Svinøya Rorbuer. Can you imagine living a simple life in a rorbu 200 years ago? With our workshop, we bring the cabin back to life again."

"Both shots taken with iPhone 13 Pro Max using the Profoto A2 and Softbox Octa and Peak Design Mobile Creator Kit. First shot uses a Platypod eXtreme and Platyball Ergo on the table. Using a Platyball Elite, as seen in the BTS capture, is another example of an excellent sturdy table setup. The second shot uses a 3 Legged Thing Bucky and Airhed Vu."

"During the Viking-age, Norse warriors explored, raided, fought, and discovered new lands, fueled by courage, Meade and the strength of Thor. Lofoten was one such place where they landed and a settlement was established. We know from the sagas that one Viking by the name of Þórir Hjort who lived in the marketplace at Vågan was one of the fiercest opponents of the Norwegian King Olav Tryggvason. Here’s my interpretation of how things may have looked back then, around 1,000 years ago in the place I now call home that was once home to Þórir Hjort (Thorir the Stag)."
