"I'm pulling out another unpublished shot from a few months ago. LEGO Luke Skywalker cutting down Darktroopers to save the day! As a bit of an experiment in lighting, for this shot I tried to combine off camera flash and constant LED lighting. I used two AD200 speedlights in softboxes to light up the scene and then I added a small LumeCube LED light with a green gel to add some environmental lighting from the lightsaber. Added a few bounce cards as well to add and block light in specific areas. I then setup my camera on my Platypod eXtreme, Platyball Elite and fired off some shots."

"In Photoshop, I cleaned up the minifigs a bit, lit up the lightsaber and also added in some hallway and elevator lights. I then used Boris FX Optics to add some sparks. Finished off with a color grade and crop back in Lightroom."
