"This diamond ring set was captured using my trusted Platypod eXtreme and Platyball Elite. These were my primary tools helping support my Lumix camera with a macro lens. Two Zhiyun LED lights, the Fiveray M20 from camera left mounted on a second eXtreme along with a Platypod Elbow. The second Fiveray M20C (pointing upward) I positioned within a translucent base which was below the ring and rose." 

"A similar set was used in the Platypod booth at this year’s WPPI conference in Las Vegas. Many of the visitors at the Platypod booth were so enamored with the Platypod Ecosystem (and the sets), that I felt it would be nice to recreate it. The main differences with this set are the lights that I used and I also added a real rose as part of the background for some depth."

"This type of configuration is ideal for a wedding photographer to use, not just for ring photography but, for any intimate images they would like to capture. Image examples that would greatly benefit from a setup like this would be a capture of the garter or perhaps even a bow tie, cuff links or dress shoes."
