The Platypod Bracket gives you a compact, rigid platform to put every part of your video setup where it works best. Get your light higher and farther from the lens. Move microphones and monitors off the camera. Add one Handle or two for comfortable handheld shooting and better balance. And once your gear is mounted, everything easily moves together. Plus, you have the option to move the entire assembled system from handheld to tripod or monopod without taking it apart.

Use it with virtually any DSLR or mirrorless camera and many professional video cameras. Already have a cage? Keep it. The Bracket works underneath it to give you even more room to build.

  • Create a comfortable handheld video setup with one or two Platypod Handles-ideal for videographers who prefer two-handed shooting.
  • Mount your camera your way-use the Arca-compatible clamp for quick release, or mount directly to the Bracket with the included 1/4"-20 D-ring bolt, leaving the clamp free for other gear.
  • Use it with or without a camera cage and build in multiple directions using the Bracketโ€™s 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points.
  • Extend and customize your setup with Platypod Rods, Elbows, Platyball Mini, and other accessories to position gear exactly where you need it.

  • Build only what you need. Start simple, then add a Rod, Elbow, Platyball Mini, Handle Cap, or other Platypod accessories as your setup grows.
  • Put the Arca clamp where you need it. The included Arca-compatible clamp can slide along the Bracket, rotate, or be removed and repurposed elsewhere in your setup for additional quick-release options.
  • Already use a camera cage? Keep using it. Mount your caged camera to the Bracket and gain additional room for Handles, lights, and accessories-extending your mounting and positioning options beyond the cage.
