The Platypod 3-Inch Spigot Adapter connects spigot-compatible lighting equipment-including monolights, flash and umbrella adapters, and other studio accessories-to Platypods and other standard threaded supports.
Its 3-inch length adds useful height and clearance while keeping your setup compact and rigid. A 3/8"-16 socket at the base connects to Platypods, Platypod Handles, and other compatible supports.
At the top, a 1/4"-20 socket accepts Platypod Elbows, Goosenecks, Rods, and other compatible components, giving you even more ways to extend, position and build your setup.
Integrated wrench flats provide a secure grasp for tightening and removal when additional leverage is needed.
