"The Mandalorian and Grogu off on another adventure. This is the S.H.Figuarts 6” version of our little duo. Braving the cold I headed outside and stuck Mando to an acrylic rod with a bit of stickytac and placed it in the snow. Setup my camera with a Platypod Extreme several feet away. Using my phone as a remote, I repeatedly kicked up snow with my hand behind the figure until I had a shot that I thought I could work with."

"In post I actually ended up merging 2 shots together to create a snow debris “explosion” I liked, then using Photoshop and Boris FX Optics, I added in some additional digital pyro to enhance the BOOM factor. Finally, finished off in Lightroom with a final color grade, and Cinemascope and Portrait crops."
