Have you entered the CRAVE food and beverage photography contest yet? Don't miss out! CRAVE is a very special contest recognizing originality and creativity in food and beverage photography using Platypod products. The winning images will be featured on the Platypod blog and throughout social media. We'll also be sharing some of the submissions. Food photography is one of the fastest-growing specialties in photography, in part because of the demand created by so many restaurants now doing carryout, And it's a great way for you to increase revenue as a photographer!

Grand Prize, Second Place and Third Place prizes will be awarded. Prizes are grouped into two categories:

  • “Gear” - photography equipment from Tamron, V-Flat and Westcott.
  • “Growth” - educational items from AaronVan Education, JP Morgan video tutorial How to Photograph Food (digital download), a one-year KelbyOne Pro Pass Membership and Don Komarechka’s “The Universe at Our Feet” Macro photography.

To enter, you must use a Platypod Ultra or Max combined with any camera, phone or other Platypod accessory, to create your images. You must submit a final image, together with a behind-the-scenes shot showing the setup that captured the shot. You're allowed up to three submissions.

All entries will be judged by Professional Photographers Bob Coates, Gilmar Smith and Scott Bourne.. Grand prize winner gets their choice of one prize from the “Gear” category and two choices from the “Growth” category. Second Place and Third Place winners can choose one item from “Gear” and one item from “Growth”.
